I love any music from the 50s-80s and i would love to hear some suggestions.

If you want something wacky that will get you motivated to kick some ass I suggest Death Grips. Specifically their Government Plates album in my opinion is pretty good, though most songs are pretty good.

A really great jazz band for that does covers of songs in that time period would definitely Rob McConnell and The Brass With Phil Woods
