One of the addons you should for sure get is VJ base it is a great addon that supports a lot of NPC addons. Other good addons I'd recommend are Backround NPCs which basically just turns Gmod into an open world game, and southside which is a pretty big map with a lot of detail. Also TFA but those are just a few suggestions
