best ways to advertise your server

what are some ways you guys advertise your servers? im building a hybrid gamemode between applejack and dark rpand i wanna start the new year with success

What type of server are you speaking of? It seems like you are talking about "Garrys Mod" but I am not totally sure because you left that part out.

You're probably better off not doing any serious advertising until you've got your gamemode/gameplay fairly well-polished on a good production server... if people show up and it's not "done" yet, they're probably won't stick around or come back. In the meantime, maybe advertise on a forum that you're looking for an experienced developer or two who share your vision and like your ideas, as well as beta testers... if it's a good server/concept, it'll pick up momentum.

well i dont rememebr seeing dark rp in minecraft or cs:go but i could be wrong

Find a niche - Youtube, Forums, groups, even hashtags. Something that fits Gmod - and you will hit a good advert.
