Most fans pretty much tell me that demon slayer is good with the animation but nobody ever told me about the story. The plot seems too common, demons and demon hunters going on a war like nothing new. It probably just got viewers hooked because of the catchy episode one and they just continue watching more because of the animation.

Not saying that I hate it, just saying that the plot is not that good since its way too common, Might as well make an anime of vampires and vampire hunters at this point.

Isn't that just most anime in the modern day? The market is oversaturated, so of course companies would rather rely on talented artists and animation rather than captivating plot points. Seems like the most general statement you could make about the show tbh.

i don't think it's the deepest or most complex story ever by any stretch, but not everything has to be groundbreakingly creative. sometimes you just wanna see sweet fights you're invested in
