Honestly depends on the series. There's a lot of one-season or one episode trash out there. (On the other hand there's a lot of good one/two episode or one season shows that REALLY need to continue, but what can you do.)

Anime is kind of a way for me to kill boredom and stress after work and I don't see anything wrong with that

I feel like anime is really not much different from normal tv shows
