energy efficient home server?

I am looking for an energy efficient home server. Currently I have a Dell T20 at home. What would you recommend?

I think keeping the server at home is inefficient. Buy a cheap VDS would be cheaper

Celeron J1800 or the Celeron 2000 or 3000 series are great. I plan to use the Atom C3558 for my network firewall, it consumes like 17w of power and is a great little cpu.

It might not be energy efficient but if you like go for HP Z840 .. best one

I recommend to buy it off bussines, for server in home your can speed more money also it's depends of use

i have an hp proliant dl160, is a nice server but its to big to keep it in house, i would like to get in future an HP micro server, i wanted Gen9 but it doesnt comes with an ILO which sux....

it depends on the tasks the server has. for low energy consumption and tasks like nas I recommend a rasp pi...
