gmod player base?

hey i was wondering how many people are playing gmod

i have my own server and was wondering if i should make it JvS or CWRP

theres alot of CWRP server so is there no point in runing one?

I was a server owner myself, the best thing to do is get a strong player base on one gamemode like for an example DarkRP, then move on to other gamemodes. I personally dont like those gamemodes that you stated

So I owned a 60+ Player StarwarsRP CW server, Its not bad to go with a CW server if you know how to make a good server, JvS is dead at this point and Icefuse basically owns it, CW Has a ton of players spread accross all the servers, So go with whatever you like the most!
