nvidia or amd?

i am willing to buy a gpu which one is best nvidia or amd ? i heard that amd had some heat issues

I myself have a video card from Nvidia and I do not regret what I bought from Nvidia, I really like shadplays there, removes and does not eat resources, but I very often remove and it is important for me not to eat resources.
