opinion on tor browser

how many people actually use it to browse because from what i have seen its more to acces the deep web as some people like to call it

Tor brwoser are bad i would just use opera it got the best securoity for browsering the darkweb

Eh. It depends. Tor is nice for when you want to be absolutely secure , however I would much rather use Brave since incognito tabs are ran off the tor network.

Except there's a much smaller market share of users who use Brave's Tor over actual Tor browser.
Not to mention that Tor keeps your window size static and arbitrary, making fingerprinting a lot harder when everyone has the same values. Also their standardized versioning will prevent OpenGL/Canvas fingerprinting.
I highly doubt many Brave users know how to prevent fingerprinting, and Tor does most of the process for you.

If you want to use Tor, just use the damn browser.

I agree!

It's depends on your purpose. if wanted to browse anonymously then you should go for Tor as you have different identify/IP.
If not, then just simply use Igncogito mode in Google Chrome or similar builtin in your browser.

I use Brave for the majority of my online activity

I use TOR with a few setting changed when I am going on the Deep Web/Dark Web
(I also use tails booted from a USB with a VPN)

It's argued that you should always use tor as doing so strengthens the network, makes tor traffic less suspicious and provides a level of security nothing else could match (VPNs are 100% trash at this.)

Pretty good, however it'd be much easier for you to just use a vpn like PIA for anonymity
