Instead of displaying the date this would display "3 hours ago" or "1 year ago"

This would be a theme setting to whether you want it enabled or not.

Personally, I think this is much better than actual dates.

Lol this feels insulting like I can't remember how far away a date is.

People should be smart enough to figure out if it's over a month old or whatever. It even says it automatically

Well im a newfag but this sounds really elegant handled to me so im going to remember this trick.. nice work!
The good thing is: its optional for people who need that micro timestamp :hehe:

This, there's only a "this thread is older than a month" warning which is interesting but doesn't stress HOW old it is.
