Why use fastdl?

FastDL is preferable for players to download your server's custom contents and especially if your contents are private for your server you wouldn't want that to be in the workshop right? It's also faster and if I'm correct it doesn't limit the download speed unlike what source servers use which is like 5 mbps or something.

It works like uploading materials and models and add-ons to a domain and you're just gonna use that domain to download your server content. Stuff like that, it's hard to set up though. Unlike WorkshopDL which is simple and you already have a generator for it, all you need to do is put your subscribed add-ons in to a collection and generate it to a workshop.lua file and boom.

Yeah, stuff like that. So FastDL is rather your choice than a must use thing. Optional basically. Maybe a hybrid is also preferable. All I can say is FastDL is good to use and it's not useless.

I believe its in the name, the fast download if workshop items allow for less players to leave during the originally long load times. Try a server without it and the deferences are huge.

You should use fastdl because otherwise the players on your server will see errors everywhere

fastdl is great makes every thing faster i love it

You use fastdl so players do not get errors. If they do not have the addons and there is no fastdl every addon you have will be errors to them.

I think... for loading.. because if don't use it then i think.. maybe it's gonna verrrrry slow idk

If people join your server and are still loading in 15 minutes later I feel like they would get really bored and find another server you wan't people to join fast.
