Why use fastdl?

Because it's faster than the normal gmod download, without it you can download only 64 MB or minus MB addons

FastDL is good for maps but not good for a ton of addons
WorkshopDL is good for a ton of addons but not for maps

Use FastDL for maps
Use WorkshopDL for addons

fastdl sucks use resource.addworkshop, it's faster and better

fastdl is way faster than source's download speeds

You use fast dl so users can load into your server faster

because nobody likes to be stuck in the loading screen for 20 minutes

Some hosting offer their DL, but to be honest, I myself do not understand anything yet.
