Has Minecraft died yet?

It just makes playing with friends so hard. I use Windows 10 edition, and none of my friends who have Minecraft use it, so I'm stuck just playing single player all by my lonesome.

Most of my friends are on Windows 7/8, I'm one of the only ones to have upgraded (even if it was against my will LOL)
So none of them can get it :(

b r u h. i feel that, but tell them to upgrade ASAP 8 was garbage, 7 was a god but like gotta let go of the past

Yeah, 8 was hot garbage, I'll try and convince them lol
I wish I still had 7, but at least I get free Minecraft with 10

I think clearly not. Look at hypixel...tens of thousands of players online. That not including other servers. Also there is a huge population of players in singleplayer and LAN multiplayer and Modded minecraft. including all of those, it has to have one of the largest player bases of all time.

Absolutely not. In fact, I'd be prone to believe this is only just the (RE)beginning of our time with Minecraft. It's a game and concept that transcends age, culture, and time, appealing to all.

Minecraft Earth is soon to go into closed beta. By that i will say that Minecraft is not near dead.
