Mostly thanks to the Altcoin forums. But I prefer telegram channels.

Bitcointalk usually has the newest coins posted by the developers. You should only mine coins that had an announcement so you dont get burned by premines.

90% of altcoins are dead and it is lucky to find one undervalued at the moment.

Mainly Twitter and reddit will be helpful.

However, at present, alt coins such as bittrex are sufficient.

One good way to find out about new cryptos is to look at https://coinmarketcap.com/new/ on that particular page you can see the most recently added cryptos to coinmarketcap. From there you can click on the coin and check the available markets and even read more about the crypto on their website.

Yup, that's what I use. There are also tools that list cryptos with sudden rise

Trading companies, ads all over the place. Or just crypto forums.
You should be extremely lucky to find an undervalued cryptocurrency today.
