If you use windows, yes you could always pirate a video editor, usually humble bundle has great deals on softwares.

If you use linux, https://kdenlive.org is like Sony Vegas, but for linux. It's like the gimp of photoshop.

And now since windows has linux merged into it, you can jerryrig kdenlive with the wsl of windows

Pirate Premiere, specially if you are familiar with other Adobe software.

right now im using premiere pro as i think it's the best atm. altho if you need somehting simple, just use like windows movie maker or sum shit lol

I would suggest using sony vegas I use it and it works pretty damn well not gonna lie.

The best video Vegas PRO. All the necessary functions for the beginner, only in it. Simple interface.

There is a lot of free video editing software online but you can just download some and seek for yourself.
