Making it harder to hack is something you dont need a plugin for.

rename the wp-admin folder to something completley random which helps a little but can still be found with a directory scan.

A good htaccess file to block directories and files you dont want the public to view password protect htaccess with an htpasswd file

An a good hosting provider who activally scans and protects all ports and everything else on the server.

will be more than happy to assist you

This! All the universal security plugins add a huge overhead to your site. And every additional plugin is an additional security risk.

You can use the wordfence plugin. A successful plugin against Trojans.

The best security is to keep wordpress stock theme, do not install any plugin, install updates automatically and have a secure server, your website will have a very good security level.
But keep in mind that no website is 100% secure.
