I want to create a server for minecraft, is it worth it?

I think u should to create something ,,new,, if u want have players

Profit wise no because Mojang shut down premium servers that exchange pay to win services

If you have the time and effort to advertise I would say yes.

They have only closed a few and only at the beginning, the eula has never been respected, and even when for a short time after the change of the eula some servers have adapted, the various large servers have not moved a comma to adapt, mojang is not a danger for anyone, it growls but does not bite

Wanna start a gamemod server ,but no clue to start it with google cloud ...

The ones that were made examples for the rest of the community lost hundreds of thousands. I was the owner of a large fairly respected server that was shut down. The worst thing to date that has ever happened to me.

Promoting the server would be hard i think, but if you are interested why not?

yeah when you have some friends to play with its the best thing you can do :D

Not really, no-one plays on low player count servers anymore its all just hypixel etc
