I want to create a server for minecraft, is it worth it?

You gotta have knowledge about minecraft servers and how to manage them first before you can open one..

Guy To be honest, I cant help you because Ive been dealing with it for a long time. I worked on the server for a very long time and wanted to start it, but it worked only on the local area network LAN, it worked fine here, its not online because it was closed ports And in order for ports to work properly, either special programs or cable Internet or dedicated servers are needed for dedicated servers; money is all that I know.

First I suggest learning plugin config / what MC players like. Most server don't make it nowadays but everyone still has a chance. I would also suggest buying plugins or adding custom plugins to make your server unique.

Hosting your own server is always your best bet. Complete control and it's free.

If you don't know how to create it and all that will be complicated you should have some bases to started coding

at this point, yes. people now only play mineplex, velt, minemen, hypixel, etc., all the big names.
