I am using Notepadd++ for programming and editing, searching within files, etc. Been using it for years now. I just feel comfortable with it

notepad++ for life. I use it for HTML/CSS, taking notes, etc. For coding I use Visual Studio.

for freeware i am using notepadd++ while adobe dreamweaver for enterprise software.
notepad++ is fast and free while dreamweaver has the gui and add-ons which you can easily do your code.

Atom ! it's really nice, even if notepad++ is practical.

Notepad++ - as others said it's a really versatile editor with lot of addons and plugins. Been using it for years.

it depends on what os I'm using on windows I use notepad++ and on linux i use nano or atom.

I use Visual Studio Code.

I used Notepad++ for a few years, and Sublime for a while.

As replied earlier in this forum post, but Notepad++ in one of the best text editors out there in my opinion
