Hi Everyone,

I want to ask you what text editor are You using. Long time i had used notepad++(only windows :/) then i used atom, visual studiocode and now i am using visual studio(they are different).

A lot of them have got problem with encoding.. Notepad++ have problem with unix files, atom and visual code studio haven't automatic search of encoding(i damaged a lot of files becouse a lot of them was in ascii, however text editor was set for utf-8)

Visiual studio hasn't this problem but it's huge application and version for macOS isn't too good how for windows. Extensions which this app don't know, don't want to open :/

I personally use Atom for my editor, love how you can customize it. I really like the functionally of VS but damn, it's just too damn big.

I sometimes switch from one editor to another (vscode, atom) just to change mood but my favorite remains vscode
The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear ..

Notepad++ is bestin windows , I like it as you can have multiple open tabs which are preserved over reboots without the need to saving the file.

VI or TEX on UNIX , VIM or LeafPad on Linux .are my first choice ..

I use a little bit of everything.

Notepad++ for all my smaller notes writing. It's completely replaced Notepad.exe
Atom is very useful and looks good, while I tend to use Visual Studio if I am doing anything for a bigger project,

I use Sublime on a daily basis for web applications, even for writing down notes and scrap ideas.
