I haven't been the greatest with the issue I am about to discuss right now, because I have
not been the most HQ user in the past few days, however this topic is important.

There really needs to be a big change in the community and me + Natsu where talking about this a few days ago on our "official" podcast, and coming with V3 we feel as if there should be some changes in what the users post. I have seen this issue multiple times where people come online and they reply to threads and basically say "Wow, I agree with this" or "This looks super cool!"

I understand that we have a really small community right now, but the posts that are being made by the users are very LQ and do not contribute to the main topic as Faded has said MULTIPLE times. Also I will talk to this with Nasyr but with the NBB news, I think we need to not do SO much for it. We have World News and Gaming News which isn't really needed.

I know we want a news paper like kind of thing, but the issue right now is that we only update the news once every 2 weeks. So why are spending our time doing news that people already know, or can find just in general. I think we need to spend more of the resources on the news towards things that are going on in the community. This can also expand to how the interviews in the NBB news go.

We need people to be more real, and we need better questions. I can discuss this with the people who do the news, but we need questions that can not only benefit NBB but so we can get personal opinions from members, and just share ideas about the forum. The graphics section, notable threads section, awards, bans, all that is valuable to the news. However I feel like we should be posting that information WEEKLY because that is what is most important right now to NBB and it's growth.

When we get more people to be apart of the NBB community then we can expand the news back to World News as well as Gaming News. So, as I digress, coming in the v3 update to the website, there needs to be a crack down on shitposting or just LQ posts in general as well as changes in some of the things in the community. I know for a fact there will be new awards and some awards will be removed, and there is more things to come in V3, but Shitposting and the news also needs to change.

I can agree to this, i myself do alot of LQ posts, there is not really a excuse for me that i do it, guess im just lazy some times...

The news part you mentioned was really good, it sounds like it would gain more news readers & it would be more fun to have the news directed towards the community for now & as you said expand it after a while when people starts being HQ & active more etc etc...
I like the idea +1 from me!

You could start to not quote the OP.

Obviously, I agree with this post. It's great to be versatile ( regarding the news ) but right now, Gaming and World news just isn't something that the members pay attention to in the news in all honesty. I do also agree that news should go back to weekly and be an update on what's happening on site. Low Quality posting, not many people can speak on that since it's widely done, but I definitely think that it's a problem that should be fixed by all of us. More content being posted and more posts that are actually relevant into the topic. Good post man.

I just got a question, what makes a post "HQ" in your opinion?

Something that is relevant to the thread being posted and not a "thanks" or "nice post".

I meant non leeching posts, the ones that aren't "thanks", "ty for share" etc

Completely offtopic that doesn't involve with the discussion at all or is stating something very obvious.

As for the OP, I'll read it through soon and give a more depth reply to everything.

It can be anything, but again; Off-Topic is the main thing. I feel in general that the word "HQ" is used way too excessively. The site has had a massive Low Quality wave within the pass few months, not afraid to admit I've been a part of that. But it's basically along the lines of going off topic, having conversations in threads ( using a thread like it's skype ), posting nonsense to gain post count, anything really. An easier way to put it is, think before posting. Ask yourself "Is this actually relevant?" "Is this post going to contribute to the discussion?" And then your answer should be your action.
