Cryptocurrency???

Whats the most prominent Crypto Currency in the world right now is it Bitcoin or something I havent heard of?

What do you mean by prominent? The biggest or ?the next bitcoin thingy?

By market cap, it's definitely BTC (bitcoin). Another by name recognition is ethereum, for which there are programming applications you can do on top (in addition to being used for "Currency" and "buying purposes").
