how do you get better in games

Keep practicing and take a break when you need to. Sometimes it's best to just put the game down and watch a movie or something. But practice makes perfect!

Watch someone else play the game online, look up some tips or walk-throughs, or play with a friend (if it's multiplayer). I only started to get better at a couple multiplayer games because my friends and I played in-game so much and figured out great strategies.

Honestly, the best way to get better at games is to keep playing them and to watch other people play them. My boyfriend watches a lot of speedruns and tournaments on youtube and one time he showed me clips of a smash brothers competition and it actually helped me figure out some things I didn't even know I could do before. So just keep practicing and if you can play with other people that are better than you, do it, and if you can't, see if you can find a youtube video.

Just play many hours and youll see that you get better

A lot of practice and/or watching play-throughs and guide videos. Watching other players helps me a lot.

Just like Karate Kid, it's ALL muscle memory. Don't worry how good your specs are, or how your gamestation is setup. Start small by playing an array of different games in the category you want to get better in.

Put a lot of time in the game. You will get better eventually. Experience is the best teacher.
