Is this game dead?

Game's not dead until there's anymore player on it.
It still have a large community but in fact, Battle.net's not giving us really good updates.
Don't play it for now.

I haven't played this game in a hot minute. I haven't seen any of my friends rocking it either. :/

League isnt dead. Due to constant updates and changes, league doesnt really get old. It might lose in popularity, but so far it seems to be slowly gaining new players. The newest item changes probably lost some players too,.

The game isn't dead yet. There are still many players playing the game, I believe Jeff even went on somewhere in the forum to tell us a more recent number of players that were actively playing.

overwatch isn't deadlol the opposite actually last month 10million players on all plantrooms

All the people I used to play with regularly are gone and Top500 is ridiculously easy to reach now. It ain't dead but it sure as hell is on a steep decline IMO.
