WILL WE EVER HAVE A GAY PRESIDENT?

If you're talking the USA, then a lot of people have to stop thinking that what someone else does in their love and sex life somehow affects their own. Just look at the offence marriage equality caused, as if two gay people getting married somehow made their own straight marriage less valid.

I find it bizarre how angry some people get about what gay people do, how they live their lives or what kind of sex they have. No one seems to care what straight people do in their bedrooms but try to have a conversation with a rabid homophobe and they always seem to bring up graphic discussions of sex rather than how two same sex people feel about each other.

But quite frankly, with the way women have been treated in the past I wouldn't be surprised to see a gay man elected before a straight woman in the USA!

My country have a strong belief in a religion that doesn't like gays, so probably not.

I think we will. It's just a matter of time. At least, I hope so.

Being gay isnt a new thing, been around for thousands of years.

Even in the 20th century, there were gays, and they were married, and their spouses probably even knew, and some family members, but it was all kept silent.

Why even bother about who's having sex with who? Why not asking will we ever have a smart and honest president instead?

We absolutely will, and it will be a beautiful day indeed when it happens. I will smile at the progress we've made together, LGBT and even non-LGBT.

We will, but maybe not in our lifetime. There's more CEOs that are LGBTQ compared to 50 years ago, but presidency... is another story. I know politics can be brutal amongst the LGBTQ.

Probably not. People just don't want to get rid of their outdated mindsets and lgbtq always get hated on everyday unfortunately. It will take a long time before everyone accepts them.
