My opinon on extra monitors

2 is the minimum you want to be productive/ game, but yea you really only need 1 good one and make that your "primary" screen since that's what games will default to

Extra monitors are great for programmers/streamers so I think it's actually pretty cool to have 2

Multiple monitor are a must, feels weird to not being able to throw youtube on the side or what

2 Monitors is just better you can always see which random is joining ur channel on ts or dc. And dont have to tab out every freaking time

I used to be all about multiple monitors, but ultrawide and 4K monitors have honestly been good enough for me at this point. Ultrawide also just take up so much space that another monitor just isn't feasible.

I use a 144Hz as main and two 60Hz ones.
The real fun begins at the size, resolution and orientation for me.
27" in Portrait 1080p, 27" landscape 1440p, 32" landscape 4K

It looks really bad, but works for me.

For work I defnitely always use a second monitor but for gaming it really depens sometimes it is better to focus on just one monitor like with strategy games.

Without thinking too much this theory crafting I have the specs of OP: one main monitor HDR, high specs and the other one which is OK. But that's more because I don't want to put too much money in a second monitor.

my girlfriend said I couldnt take my tripple monitor setup to our new aparment so i told her to read the fine print and got one 49 inch ultrawide

I would do the same model if you are doing graphics
