Was this just a taste of what the men behind Labs and behind gain of function are capable of doing?

I hope one day that wearing a mask will no longer be mandatory.

Cavid has well and truly hit my family, my auntie passed away a a week and half ago from blood cancer and we had to plan the funeral. Some of my family members come down from other ends of the country and never tested and have passed it on to another 9 people in my family along with my father and grandmother.

Have been testing myself everyday since and have come back negative on the rapid antigen tests but still isolating for 10-14 days.

I'm so sorry about your Aunt, death is a terrible thing and at a time like this it a loss can just hit different. It's hard to stay safe from Covid when not everyone is taking it seriously.

Pandemics can get a lot worse than this. The anti-masker anti-vaxxer crowd really gets under my skin. So do the pharmaceutical companies who fight to keep their ip protected when tax dollars funded vaccine research in the first place. It really has to get everywhere or we run the risk of much more dangerous variants. Though I will say I think the pharma industry would love to see deadlier variants. Means more money for them if they can treat it.
Anti maskers/vaxers are very narrowminded, ignorant people, that doesn't even know how vaccines work, or from what they are made of. They are spreading total lies for people. The people are dying, getting very sick, I can't how antivaxers can spread such misinformation and lies when people are dying.
