COVID-19 Discussion Thread

Why do some people feel like they have better judgment on this vaccine than people who have dedicated their lives to studying contagious diseases?

My country has a pretty low covid count hopefully its gonna go away for good soon

We are almost out but we need to stay safe and be aware.

Stay Safe it will past in no time like all virus's that have existed.

The situation even with the vaccine has not changed!

Just like with Spanish flu, a 4th wave could occur if too many people stops their efforts at the first signs of improvement

Pandemics can get a lot worse than this. The anti-masker anti-vaxxer crowd really gets under my skin. So do the pharmaceutical companies who fight to keep their ip protected when tax dollars funded vaccine research in the first place. It really has to get everywhere or we run the risk of much more dangerous variants. Though I will say I think the pharma industry would love to see deadlier variants. Means more money for them if they can treat it.

Did anyone think that covid would last this long...?
