As others already have said - Laravel is the primary go-to framework nowadays in PHP world.

Laravel is the most popular framework, but am not a fan of laravel myself. Do some research on SOLID Factory frameworks....

i am using laravel and it's very good framework. but it's very large, so if you want some simple to create like REST API, you should think about lumen, witch is smaller then laravel
