Maya or blender ?

im a beginner, what's the best to work with ?

I would start off first with blender cuz on the internet u find more stuff, tutorials, etc. for blender than Maya, also blender has a more friendly beginner interface in my opinion and also it's free so blender would be the better choice in my opinion.

I like blender but i heard maya is used by a lot of companies

blender more easier to learn but maya is like more complicated but ig it has more features and uses for companies

This is a question that has come up a lot. I think it's a question that has to be answered by looking at the type of work you want to do and the type of software you want to use. Maya is a great program and it has it's place, especially for large companies that need to use a bunch of different tools at once and need to be able to throw a lot of computers at a problem. But for a lot of smaller studios, the price is a bit much. It's also a really difficult program to learn, it's a bit of a beast. Blender is easier to learn, but it has less tools. It is a fantastic program though, and I couldn't think of a better program to make a movie with. It's free and it's open source, which means that if you want to add a feature to it, you can do it, and you can make it available for everybody else.

Blender cuz too many tuts and free open source huge W.But in vfx industry like do serious work and big company they use maya i think

Blender, it's free and has some amazing plugins; I do a lot of game port stuff and it's so simple to grab maps from Fortnite or CSGO and import into blender. One I'm excited about is a replacement of a 3DSMax plugin that allows ped and building modeling for GTA5.
