What text editor are You using? Why?

Notepad++, I'd say it is the most feature rich freeware there is.

I Use Vscode for coding and all the Xtensions, and Notepad++ for logs reading.

Visual Studio Code, because it's awesome, supports a lot of stuff, can connect to cloud servers and open folders

VSCode currently. Used PHPStorm for quite some time.

I was using sublime 3 from the beginning of my code adventure, but recently I switched to VS Code because built-in terminal

Using Notepad++ since 2012! I don't write a lot of code so i don't need great features from an editor.

windows default notepad no use for notepad for me

notepad++ is enough on windows
brackets on mac os

i use VS Code and Sublime Text editor. I'm not the biggest fan of Notepad ++

VScode mainly. When on linux, Vim or Emacs.
