Thinking about starting a server

Test server went down. The host will be giving everyone downtime while they upgrade their hardware. The testing MAY have to be prolonged by another week or so.

On another note, testers will be testing plugins and vulnerabilities. Testers also can suggest plugin changes, additions, reconfigurations, or rebalances based on their experience. I'm going to leave the economy to be done by the community through a grand exchange type of system. I've decided having applications for builders, you can be a builder if you prove to me that you're competent and quality at doing so. Builders will have a separate creative inventory, and a system will be in place that prevents them from cheating (can't interact with interactive blocks except redstone, excluding hoppers, nor can they interact with living entities or drops).

Spawn will probably be this big, empty space where builders can build, others can build along the outskirts of spawn if they'd like. I'll probably dedicate a different world to HCF/F. I'm considering not having a land protection plugin on the main world, unless griefing becomes a problem. Stealing may be allowed, depending on what the community wants, but if anything I can just leave that to the HCF/F world.

UPDATE: The server should be up after finals season for me. I'm sorry for the massive delay, I've just been really busy.

Starting a new server is hard. But getting members is harder.
