Why do people dislike minecraft

Because of the childish and toxic community

It's because of the community. It just fits the stereotypes too well

The first thing that comes to mind negatively is lot of toxic kids that play it and total exploitation of the brand with "books" and plethora of crappy toys on the market.

I used to play minecraft a lot, but after some years i've seen that many people refer to minecraft players as little kids and stuff.

Yeah, most people think its just a game made for children. A lot of people don't really understand it. You really have to play it to understand that everyone at any age can play it.
