I personally tried some - but VisualStudio is still the best one for web development in my opinion. Everything works and it is really stable.

NotePad ++ is the best

but also sublime text is good

i am asp .net developer and best ide for asp is visual studio and for html css best is chrome or firefox

I would prerer Atom too as said from @Addicted because you can use it in cloud !

Atom is one good for coding and its theme option is very much good So i prefer Atom

Intellij IDEA best IDE for development lua\web\etc... And sublime for fast editing text files

Sublime text 3. Workd grealt, lots of free plugins and nice themes for it.

I use visual studio 2017 with jetbrains resharper plugin and notepad++

I use Brackets. I used to use Visual Studio (I didn't know PHP) when I had a Windows laptop.

atom is a great editor
unfortunately its unstable when you install multiple plugins sooo
