As I stated in a previous thread, Atom is just the all around best choice for me. It isn't exactly an all-around IDE but is the best text editor for someone with my skill set and someone who uses git an extreme amount having it be developed buy the GitHub team is a massive advantage.

I use Webstorm, Atom or Emacs. Atom is a little more resource intensive.

I was an avid user of phpStorm for the longest time.... and then I downloaded Atom and realized that for general web development it's all I needed. Atom is my fav.
