Anyone else using a China phone? Tell me about it.

I bought a Xiaomi Note 4 about 6 months ago and I've been loving it. Amazed by the specs I was able to get for the price. The camera and screen have good specs on paper but aren't quite as good as high end phones. But they're more than good enough for me. The battery life beats any other phone I've owned. I'd love to hear what other people are using, how much you paid for it and if it's treating you well.

I've used nothing but China phones for atleast 7 Years now, the first one I had was worth $80 and it was a marvelous phone, lasted me a year and a bit, I then got a UmiDigi Iron Pro, which was also an amazing phone for $140 (in and around) full metal body construct and great specs the only reason it broke was because I fucked up Rooting it and hardbricked it, I've sorta kept a loyalty to UmiDigi, as my next two phones are made by them, My phone after this was a Umidigi Plus, which had 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. It has amazing camera quality and a full metal body, didn't feel cheap and never slowed down, always snappy, thats was $180, and my most recent phone I bought is the Umidigi S2, I bought that for $180 also, it has 4GB of RAM 64GB of ROM two rear facing cameras (the new flagship in phones) and a 6.1" screen, basically bezel-less
I can't recommend Umidigi enough to be honest, their phones have never let me down.
Side note, I only got the S2 because I wanted to, the Plus is still working perfectly, my sister is currently using it now.

I've never really had a great experience using tech from china. I'm more biased to the IPhone, though, so maybe I'm wrong.

Thanks for sharing this guys. I've been wanting to buy one for my next phone. Won't hesitate now.

this is not correct, it used to be like this but now thing have changed.
there are some premier phone companies now in china like:

Huawei
Xiaomi
Meizu

I Just Bought a Elephone p8 mini 100 bucks dual sim octocore etc amazing, Could anyone tell me how to go about dual booting Parrot PenOS on these things or any small unix linux distro ? Ta

Anything makes on China. China makes components for all brands like Samsung, Iphone, LG...The diference between a China phone and ur X brand smartphone it`s only the firmware.

Very cheap, dual sim, 3gb ram - but I directly deleted the rom and use another one from the web.
I dont like those china rom stuff.
Is okay and stable also nice for gaming.
But the huge display gets cracked fast and the replacement display isn't that good so be aware.
