Anyone else using a China phone? Tell me about it.

Chinese-brand flagships are known to be some pretty decent powerhouses at a much better cost than mainstream flagships. I wouldn't mind using one, if it wasn't for the extreme lack of support in community development.

I have a Huawei Honor 5X running Lineage OS 14.1. It's a great $200 phone, but amazon was listing a different color for 140 so I got that one. I do not like EMUI, so I flashed it to Lineage for a more stock Android experience. It sucks though because Snapchat is highly un-optimized for Lineage, and my phone, causing it to freeze my phone up sometimes. It's just Snapchat that does it.

I bought a Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime 1 year ago for 135 euro. It is a beautiful phone and the price is very low. I don't use miui but a AOSP rom. The battery can keep 10+ hours of screen on.

I've been using a Redmi 4X for about a year now, mi daugther a Redmi 3, a nephew has now a Mi 6 and it is really nice, 6Gb Ram and 64Gb storage, the only thing is that it doesn't have the option to use a micro sd card like other models that can use up to 128GB of extra space still two sim cards can be used, and can handle several apps and games and no noticeable impact in the performance.

I used Meizu, very strong phones! Also the camera is top. Sadly it broked down after 3 Years. Now I have the VIVO Y69 it was cheap and is still awesome. But I guess VIVO is from Taiwan tho

my friend, UMIDIGI, in my experience, is doing interesting things, it is not the high range, which is directly reflected in the cost, but they are devices that work quite well.

i'm currently use a Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro with 6GB RAM/128GB Storage.. it's pretty tough to do some daily task, especially smooth running a 3D Games like asphalt or maybe deer hunter.

I've recently bought a Huawei Y5 (Y560) to use as a back up phone and it works fine, I cant' really complain. I like my Samsung galaxy a lto more but this one costed only 99 so for that price it's great.

China phones is not good android phones its easy to break !
