Most likely it would be both but most of the time it would be all of the dedication and hard work you would do

I think a great amount of it is luck. Many super successful people have said that they failed MANY times before finally hitting on an idea.

I think it's a combination anyways, so you can be hardworking but unlucky so, they both are needed for success not hardly but you know

Both, it's about who you know and what you do and how hard you work to obtain what you want.

I agree that luck is important, but without hard work you go nowhere.

I believe that it's hard work and who you know mostly.
Success in life isn't what you achieved on paper, such as school or University results, but it's what you've accomplished and who you've worked with, or on...
If you want to succeed, I'd say do things that'll get you noticed more than will be good on paper.
Of course, you'll need said paper to get into some situations, but what you do certain situations will help you the most.

surely you reap what you plant, if you work hard and have focus on what you want, you will surely achieve success
