Most times I disagree that success is a result of hard work. I know a lot of people who are successful not because of their hard work but their lucky break. thoughts?

It can be both, it can be one or the other. Some people get lucky and don't put in much work, other people put in a lot of hard work and get places, some people put in hard work but get nowhere. It depends what your "hard work" is going towards. If you have no creativity or you have a bad idea or don't believe in yourself, no matter how much work you put in you could still get nowhere. Success is a mixture of things imo.

A bit of both, but mostly hard work, honestly. People do catch lucky breaks, which is why I don't think it's entirely up to hard work, but it doesn't take that much luck.

I would say both, honestly.
Thats just my opinion though.

I would say both but if you work hard you sure have a higher percentage of being successfull

You just have to be smart with your hard work and "luck" will come naturally.

You need both.

With hard work you can achieve almost everything.. but!
Without luck.. you probably can't achieve others.

Its a combination of the 2. A lot of the "luck" can be controlled though, being at the right place at the right time

It's a bit of both. You need to have lucky breaks in life to move forward, but it kind of comes hand in hand. You aren't going to catch those breaks if you don't do shit in your life to trigger them. The only way you may get off with just being lucky is if you were born into money and don't have to work for the starting money to get where you want to be.

I agree with everyone that success involves both luck and hard-work, but I'm leaning towards hard-work.
