Why is darkrp so popular?

I think its popular just because the amount of content there is for it. Like you can literally use any addon in the workshop on a DarkRp server. Its a mesh of cancer and people are RPing in all aspects. Pretty much a stew of several different things all put in one.

Darkrp is so much fun most likely because it's honestly a way to escape your daily life and have fun

I like the star wars rp more atleast trolling on them servers are funny

DarkRP is used as base addon (not gamemode) on most server, as its easy to modify.

Because it's realy fun, you can chill with your friends, it's also doesn't require you to actually play a role
