NFO Pad opens pretty large files, plus its free, supports most import formats aswell so win win Smile

visual studio code is really nice. Lots of features and is small compared to visual studio

I like notepad++ for editing large files. It's simple and effective.

Terminal editor like VIM should be your choice as it only buffers the lines displayed on your screen.
