I use Notepad++, Atom and the Visual Studio platform... sometimes i use standard Notepad from Windows if i need to edit CMD or BAT files (yes, we have a few files from these types already hehe)

I used NPP for a long time but a year ago I switched to Atom, it's now my favourite editor.

In my point of view for peoples with a lot of patience atom is best but NOTEPAD++ ALSO MAKES A NICE CHOICE.

Like the title says, whats your favorite code editor and why?

Personally i have used NPP since 2007 and that fast became my favorite mostly for the ease of styles for my PHP, CSS and HTML. I do however lack a live preview tho. For this i have to setup a "dev" page so i don't publish something stupid just to try it out, would be better if i could just type some code, refresh in the same window and save/publish any ideas what im looking for?

I used to use phpstorm, now aday I use brackets... As for site preview. Install wamp or xamp?
