Lots of people have lost a lot of money on bitcoin too. If you can make money using bitcoin that's one thing, but I don't think the average person's best bet is to just invest in BTC and hope the value goes up.

I would say take the risk if you are in for long term profit & not a quick flip.

Bitcoin is only worth it in some countries. I'm living in germany for example, and bitcoin here is absolutely not worth it. The profits have to outweigh the money it costs to power the machine that you use for cryptomining. Energy in germany is so expensive that cryptomining in germany is basically dead these days. What country do you live in? What are the energy prices there? If your country relies highly on eco-energy then the chance is very high that the energy prices are too high to make crypto mining sustainable for you. If your country uses nuclear energy / coal, you'll likely make quite a profit if you mine with the right equipment; namely that would be a number of 2k series graphics cards.

Not worth in my opinion.. at least for now. The crypto market is so volatile now, you would be better off invest in brand new coins that have the potential to double or triple after their release.

I think it's worth it just to diversify your investment portfolio, assuming you have other savings and investments.

longt tearm i would go with bitcoin, wanna make money fast, get some of the new ones

Bitcoin is the future of all currencies just invest in it and wait , but do not trade because the market is so volatile
