Is mining dead?

As long as people find a profit in mining, there will always be miners. As of right now, getting into mining might not be the best idea, but if you already have mining rigs, why not.

for now probably or atleast untill the difficulty adjust, but for sure mining is not dead forever, maybe for the gpu miners, but for asics i think will allways have a mining market, this or all coins go to POS or something like that and then yeah mining will be dead, but if there is only one POW coin will there still be mining.

It might be, I honestly don't know. I was in school one day and BTC spiked to 4k.

always keep in mind that it is likely to raise again, maybe not to the heights of before but still it can amount substantially

In my opinion, it is still worth another. How will the virtual market continue to work? There will always be people who will continue even though it will be really cheap, it also depends on which country you are in.
