Was harry potter a good series?

The movies watched them all hundreds of times and love them to bits , but i have never had the time or effort too sit and down and read the whole series of books ive only managed to read half of the philosophers stone and half of the cursed child

The books themselves were great, but you can easily skip the reading and watch the movies which are just as good imo

Never read the books, but I thought the movies was a very good film. and i don't tired to watch them

I enjoyed the serie but clearly overated for me, i prefer lotr

i personally don't like harry potter that much but a friend of mine is watching like almost everyday.

hope they would soon create one maybe on the cursed child

I personally love the whole Harry Potter series (books and movies). Others who read it later on (not young) may not find it as enchanting as we did though.

I also wish J.K. Rowling didn't write the screenplays for the new Fantastic Beasts - she's much better off wiring books and having someone else adapt the story into a movie,
