Why do you need at least 15 posts?

Lounge is just full of leechers and spammers to be honest

I am new in this community and I see it as a good measure so that you not only take advantage of what there is but also contribute something.
I do not find it annoying, I support it.

If it were not for the 15 posts, folks would just come and download stuffs and leave. There would be no more forums.

To keep away from spammers and bots, I guess. Who knows.

I think its a good idea. Otherwise you would have a lot of user that just come here once to use the content and not contribute to the forum.

To prevent spammers and only allow high quality posts, its a pain but a good rule which is why I like this site
