it used to be about buying stuff without being 'traced' , however it is possible to get caught , nowdays it about muh HODL and sell for higher price , that why the market crashed

A meme currency that basically died once people realize it's really not that useful besides for mostly scammers.

Well, the price wouldn't have crashed if people were actually HODLing instead of just saying they were.

It is actually better than regular currency in that it can be untraceable if you know what you're doing. You can convert a percentage of your income into BTC and drip feed it into your bank account when you need it to minimize income taxes even if you aren't doing any illicit activity.

It's an anon currency. You can't be tracked nor you can get sent coins back.

For example, it is used to buy illegal stuff because you can't track the seller/buyer with that currency. It's crypted

Everyone uses it for criminal activity, that's got to be the only purpose
