I never cared much for the Naruto anime. (I cared more for the manga, though I watched the anime excluding the fillers.) The difference here is that Naruto is 50/50 milking and quality. SAO is more like 90% milking and 10% quality and then I am being generous.

Bleach has its ups and downs, though lack tension. Naruto has that too, aside from the majority of the fillers. (Hence why I said I preferred the manga. The same goes with Bleach.) The canon material in both those series are good. SAO's source material is bad, even by the author's standards.

my first anime was SAO

It's pretty enjoyable.
I like the first 14 or so episodes way more than the rest though..

Srsly when people say they're watching Naruto/One Piece/Bleach/Dragon Ball Z I instantly kinda deny them. I am very very biased when it comes to this, idk why.
My current gf watches and loves Naruto... I denied her first, too, but well then I fall in love with her '_'

And that's where ignorance begins. I, for one; watch Naruto and One Piece. Also a huge follower of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z.
However, I also am very versatile in easily over 100 series'. Just because someone watches mainstream doesn't mean they don't also follow the smaller series' that are great as well.

That is the same as me saying that because you watch and/or like something I don't then you should be denied.
