Favourite movie genre?

I like horror and action more than others, but any film can be great regardless of genre as long as the people behind it know what they're doing. For example, there are so many horror films that are just cheap jumpscare flicks, but at the same time there are movies like The Shining and Us which are fantastic. Same with action. If you're an aspiring film-maker, I'd recommend finding a genre you enjoy watching, and learn the process behind their direction!
