Favourite movie genre?

I am an aspiring movie director, so out of curiosity, what is everyone's favourite movie genre? And why?

Horror for me love it but the horrors these days are getting very much the same.

Everyone has their own favorite gender men.. it's like if I ask you aboutyour favorite food xd

My favourite genre is comedy as i enjoy a laugh and it always puts me in a good mood.

I like horror and action more than others, but any film can be great regardless of genre as long as the people behind it know what they're doing. For example, there are so many horror films that are just cheap jumpscare flicks, but at the same time there are movies like The Shining and Us which are fantastic. Same with action. If you're an aspiring film-maker, I'd recommend finding a genre you enjoy watching, and learn the process behind their direction!

Comedy movies are the best just sit back and watch although i do prefer popcorn

Really depends but I typically enjoy comedy or action. Or a combination.

Comedy and horror are good, however the horror movies lately have seemed pretty bad.
